Posted on LizVerified This Tour was wonderful. Mohamed was the perfect guide. Our recommendation. Add SETI as an add on. Worth it. This Tour was wonderful. Mohamed was the perfect guide. He quickly adapted tour to our tastes and pace with ease. He is friendly and well educated in the knowledge that made this tour a highlight of our stay. Thanks for the recommendation to add SETI as an extra as well as king Tut as it was one of the highlights of the tour. Posted on OnAir03846617698Verified Trustworthy company I always book transfers for my clients on Egypt Holiday Makers Travel and I trust their service! This quad bike tour will be engraved forever, we loved it. My sons have a beautiful memory of it. The organization was perfect. Quick contact, well-managed transfers & trips, welcome and enthusiasm of the teams, perfect. It was fabulous to be able to spend this moment in the desert and at sunset. I would have no words to describe how I enjoyed every moment of this safari, which I obviously recommend. Thank you to everyone for the professionalism and sharing of emotions. Can’t wait to come back, to make other excursions during a next trip to Egypt... Our trip ended in style thanks to you. What a wonderful memory. Thanks for everything.NB: we always have apprehensions when booking a tour. With Egypt Holiday Makers, nothing to worry about, they handle everything brilliantly. You can solicit them with your eyes closed.Posted on Andrea GVerified Perfect. The driver made a stop midway so we could go the bathroom and have some rest.Posted on Sabrina BVerified Best quad safari Great experience with the agency! All the transports were nickel, super well organized. The quad and the boat on the Nile were just amazing. And the supervision throughout was really reassuring, we felt well accompanied. Frankly, top from start to finish 🙌Posted on Charles ZVerified Excellent Quad ATV Ride The quad ride was fun! We got to go around on some dunes and stop for some fresh hibiscus tea. It was a small group of about 7 people and some have to ride doubles. We all had chances to drive. It was not as hot around the evening.Posted on April PVerified Great company - they take feedback seriously Private car transfer from Cairo Airport to Alexandria and the back from Alexandria to Cairo. The first trip wasn't the greatest , the driver said he couldn't talk due to his retainer, he didn't stop for us to stretch and use the bathroom. The return trip back i asked not to be given the same driver but we were in-fact given the same young man, this time he spoke briefly, he stopped on the way and put the AC on. The company is very reliable - this was a driver issuePosted on Szilvia dVerified Best way ever We went from Sharm el Sheik to Cairo in private car. The driver was in time, very friendly, and excellent despite the terrible traffic.I can recommend him everybody : Abdo

Yes, Egypt is generally a safe destination for tourists. Millions of travelers visit Egypt every year to explore its ancient wonders, vibrant culture, and beautiful landscapes without any problems. The government has made significant efforts to ensure the safety of visitors, especially in major tourist areas like Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea resorts. Like any travel destination, it’s important to stay aware of your surroundings, follow local advice, and stick to well-known routes and tour operators.
Planning a trip to Egypt involves several important steps to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Here’s a guide to help you plan:
Decide on Your Travel Dates: Egypt has a hot desert climate, so the best times to visit are during the cooler months, from October to April. The summer months (May to September) can be extremely hot, especially in areas like Luxor and Aswan.
Choose Your Destinations: Egypt is full of fascinating places to visit. Some of the top attractions include:
Cairo: Visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum.
Luxor: Explore the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple.
Aswan: Discover the Philae Temple and enjoy a Nile River cruise.
Red Sea Resorts: Relax in Sharm El-Sheikh or Hurghada for beautiful beaches and water activities.
Book Your Flights: Look for flights to Cairo International Airport or other regional airports depending on your planned destinations. Compare prices across various booking platforms and try to book in advance for better rates.
Apply for a Visa: Most travelers will need a visa to enter Egypt. You can get a visa on arrival at the airport or apply for an e-visa online before your trip.
Plan Your Accommodation: Egypt offers a range of accommodation options, from luxury resorts to budget hotels. Choose based on your preferences and travel style. Popular areas to stay include Cairo, Luxor, and the Red Sea resorts.
Create an Itinerary: Decide how long you’ll spend in each location. Include time for sightseeing, relaxation, and cultural experiences. Make sure to balance busy days with some downtime.
Arrange Transportation: Consider how you'll get around in Egypt. Domestic flights, trains, and buses are common options for long distances, while taxis, ride-hailing apps, and private drivers are useful for short distances.
Research Local Culture and Etiquette: Learn a few basic Arabic phrases, as well as cultural norms and customs. Egypt is a predominantly Muslim country, so dressing modestly and being respectful of local traditions is important.
Pack Appropriately: Follow a packing list for Egypt, including lightweight clothing, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes for sightseeing. Don’t forget a camera, as Egypt offers incredible photo opportunities.
Stay Safe: While Egypt is generally safe for tourists, always stay informed about the current security situation and follow local advice. It’s also a good idea to have travel insurance that covers health and emergencies.
By carefully planning these aspects, you’ll have a memorable and hassle-free trip to Egypt.
When packing for your trip to Egypt, it's essential to bring lightweight, breathable clothing such as cotton or linen for the hot weather, along with comfortable walking shoes for exploring historical sites. Remember to pack a scarf for modesty when visiting religious locations, and swimwear if you're staying at a resort. Don't forget a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen to protect yourself from the intense sun, as well as a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during your adventures. If you're traveling in cooler months or visiting the desert, include a jacket or sweater for the evenings.
You can obtain a visa to visit Egypt in several ways, depending on your nationality and travel plans:
e-Visa (Online Application): Many travelers can apply for an electronic visa (e-Visa) online through the official Egypt e-Visa Portal. The process is quick and simple, usually taking 3–7 business days.
Visa on Arrival: Available for citizens of certain countries, allowing you to purchase a visa at the airport upon arrival in Egypt.
Embassy or Consulate Application: If you're not eligible for an e-Visa or visa on arrival, you may need to apply in person at the nearest Egyptian embassy or consulate.
Yes, many women travel solo in Egypt and have a rewarding experience. However, as with any destination, it’s important to take certain precautions. Solo female travelers should dress modestly (covering shoulders and knees), avoid walking alone late at night, and be cautious in less crowded areas. Egyptian people are generally warm and welcoming, and being respectful of the local culture goes a long way in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip.
